Danny Cassidy is a 26 year old lovable Lancashire lad, who has recently be diagnosed for the SECOND time with Leukaemia (Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia & Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia). Dan has already beaten cancer once in 2016 after going through two strokes, 3 weeks in a coma, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, a stem cell transplant, a bone marrow transplant and a cranial reconstruction (I know you’re thinking, what a BEAST)
Dan has now been faced with the news that the cancer has returned so aggressively that it is now untreatable and as a result has only 12 months left to live.
Dan is in a ten year long relationship with his amazing and supportive fiancé Darcy Young. The ultimate childhood sweethearts have been together since prom and have supported each other through everything. They were due to get married in November, however following on from this devastating news have both are wishing to bring their wedding forward. Which means there is a lot less time to save to give them both the fantastic and memorable day they deserve. This is where YOU come in!
Dan & Darc really don’t feel comfortable to request support or money from anyone. However as close friends to them both, the Cassidy Crew are asking for your support! To give them the best remaining days they have together.
