Hi,
My name is Vicky Simmons. I am starting a GoFundMe account for my husband, Danny Simmons. Danny is 55 years old and has broke his back and had a heart attack in last few years. He has had rotator cuff surgery on shoulder which has put him out of work for 9 months because he is a construction worker and will not be able to use his left arm.
Here is his story:
Last July our family and a good friend, Brian (who is paralyzed from waist down and in a wheelchair) went to Smith Mountain Lake for a few days vacation. While there, Brian attempted to get on a jet ski from the boat dock. The jet ski moved away from the dock and Danny had to catch him from going in the water. After we got home, Danny went back to work for 6 more months with a torn rotator cuff injuring it even more. His tendons are torn away from the bone. He had surgery to repair it, that the doctor says will put him out of work for at least 9 months.   He has no way of paying rent, car payment, food or necessary bills. Danny has always helped others in need. He is a good father to our 2 kids who still live at home, and has always been a great provider and this has crushed his spirit and is making him depressed. After he broke his back and had heart attack, he managed to go back to work but this really has him down. Any help would be greatly appreciated. No amount is too small. God bless you!
