Hey Everyone I’m Daniel/Danny,
I am a 16 year old trans male, since I was 8/9 I had a “tomboyish” side to me whether that would be playing on the boys football team in primary to not liking lots of girly stuff. I never really understood what the LGBTQ+ community was till 2019 when I got introduced to drag, I had heard certain terms before like gay, lesbian & bisexual but never understood what being transgender was until the start of 2020. that’s when I started to question my identity, I first came out to my friends at the start of 2020 as genderfluid and using she/they pronouns but didn’t want to come out as trans just in case that’s not what I identified as and thanks to lockdown I was able to focus on myself and figure out my identity and that’s when I came out as non binary and felt more comfortable with myself and also started using they/them pronouns.
But as I got to the end of the year I started to question myself again and that’s when I finally came out as a trans male and now I feel confident with my identity. Unfortunately because of the NHS waiting list it’s hard for trans folk to start transitioning because it can take up to 6 years and I cannot wait that long as my mental health is already bad, so I’ve decided I want to go private, if you can donate it would mean the world to me even sending £1 will make my day
