Danny’s funeral costs and Nora’s Childcare

Hi, my name is Michael Burks and I am fundraising for the funeral costs, childcare, and financial support for the family of United States Air Force Veteran Daniel (Danny) Winkler.

For many people Danny was not just a friend, coworker, or someone you could always count on to bum you a smoke, but a light you could always count on to shine. So many of us have stories of him going out of his way to make sure we were taken care of and felt loved whether by genuinely listening to us, generously giving to us, or by ceaselessly providing hugs and care. He was the life of the party and the best listener. He was many amazing things, but most importantly he was also a father to little baby Nora and a dear lover to the beautiful Lauren Miller. They are not just losing a goofball dad and a tender companion, but a hard working provider and nurturer.

During this time we ask that you lean into that generosity and compassion he had for others and bless Lauren and baby Nora by helping donate to cover all funeral expenses, a year of childcare, and a little extra as a cushion for emergency as this young family loses not just a husband and father, but over half of their household income.
