It is extremely heart breaking and unfortunate that I have to share this news with all of you. On Friday, April 21, 2017, My sister and brother in law were confronted with horrible news that would change their lives forever. What was supposed to be a special day, their 5 year wedding anniversary and 13 years together, turned into the worse day of their lives.
My sister Nikki and brother in law Danny, were forced to sit with doctors to confirm Danny was indeed suffering from brain cancer. On Monday, April 24, JUST 3 days later, he went into the operating room for a 4 hour brain surgery to remove the golf size tumor from the frontal lobe of his brain. Although he has undergone brain surgery, the aggressive cancer still remains.
Danny is a loving father of 3, a husband , an uncle, a son , a brother, a friend and loved by many! Danny is a fighter and he refuses to surrender himself to brain cancer.
My sister does not want to loose her husband, my nieces and nephew their father, or Danny, his life. We will NOT go down without a FIGHT!
Unfortunately, Within this fight , the bills keep coming, the treatment dosages increase, and my sister has no choice but to stop working to care for the father of her children and stick by him through every stepping stone, whether it is a bad day or good one in the day to day battle with cancer.
Asking for help is not something my Sister and brother in law wanted me to do but we will stop at nothing to try and obtain the treatments necessary to encourage him to fight for his life, and SURVIVE the evil associated with cancer. Insurance will not cover all the necessary treatments and medication to ease Danny's pain, provide cancer fighting supplements, holistic care, or supplies for shower and keep him comfortable. Danny is a fighter who refuses to surrender himself to brain cancer.
I ask anyone reading this to please find it in their hearts to help us fight the fight! Any donation given to help Danny get the expensive and regular day to day treatment needed to attack the cancer is truly a blessing and will not go unnoticed by him or our entire family! As a team , as a unity, we will fight back against this vicious attack called brain cancer!
No donation is too small and anything can help us stock up on supplies week to week and assist this family of 5 during this battle.
