Our brother, Danny, has just started chemotherapy as he has recently been diagnosed with testicular cancer. As you can imagine, finding this out with Christmas just around the corner has been incredibly difficult for our family.
While his prognosis looks good and the treatment is highly effective, the real battle off the pitch for Danny starts now. As he starts chemotherapy, we are rallying together to provide him with the support and resources he needs to focus on recovery and stay comfortable during this difficult time.
The side effects of chemotherapy, such as weight loss, hair loss, fatigue, and vulnerability to infections, will soon take a toll on his body. His determination to fight is unwavering, but he needs a little extra help to manage the day-to-day realities of treatment.
We’re raising funds to help him with:
- Medical Expenses & Comfort: Costs related to treatment, medications, clothes, and supplements to help with side effects and keep him strong.
- Healthy Foods & Nutrition: Specialised meals and nutritional support to help him regain strength and maintain his weight during chemotherapy.
- Family Support: Emotional support for our nieces and helping ease the burden of household expenses so Danny can focus on healing.
We know this time of year is hard for everyone, but we'd be so thankful if you could even donate the price of a pint... you know Danny loves a good pint.
