Danny Lakip was diagnosed in September 2014 with stage 4 lung cancer that metastisized to the brain (20 tumors in his brain). He underwent two weeks of whole brain radiation therapy right away, and was to be on chemo for life. In mid-January he had emergency surgery for perforated colon, diverticulitis and infection in abdominal cavity. He needed a blood transfusion a few days later. He now (Jan. 25) has to be off chemo while healing from surgery. He was having seizures all day yesterday (Jan. 24), but they are under control now with medications. As of the end of January he has been in critical care for two and half weeks. He has a long road ahead toward healing, but is a fighter. Medical and travel expenses continue to accumulate, any financial help is appreciated. The Lakip family is so thankful for your continued prayers and support!
