Dear Family & Friends,
I am writing to you from the deepest sorrows of my heart to inform you that my father, Danny Koh, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021 at Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital after fiercely battling with COVID for several weeks.
Danny is survived by his devoted wife, Sherly Koh, and ever-supportive sister, Sarah Yeung. He is also survived by his loving son & daughter-in-law, Oliver Koh & Kathy Chen, and grandson, Liam Koh. Danny was preceded in death by his father (Henry Koh), mother (Janet Koh), and his sister (Rebecca Tang).

The past two months have been a season marked with great challenge, physical suffering, and emotional turmoil for my family, as we've unexpectedly lost two members of our small family due to COVID - my grandmother and now my father. This has been a season which I hope nobody ever has to experience. Though I've stood firm on God's sovereignty, it was an emotional rollercoaster given how COVID treatment can give a glimmer of hope, and then COVID can immediately take that hope away within a matter of a day.
Through this tumultuous and tragic season, our family does have a positive outlook. God has brought family, friends, and new people into my life that I never expected. God is good, even in hard times. We want to thank you for the support from all across the globe thus far: your prayers, your calls, and your words of encouragement.
I am sure that my father, Danny, is rejoicing and watching us from Heaven above and sends his love even though he wasn't able to in person.

As some of you may not know, Danny worked hard in order to provide the necessities in life for his loving and devoted wife and the Koh family. When he wasn't working, he selflessly did the grocery shopping for the whole family and the house chores, and enjoyed having weekly family dinners.
Though his hard work and dedication were consistent and unwavering, an outstanding balance remains on his mortgage as well as his funeral costs. We are graciously asking for donations in lieu of flowers for the funeral. All donations will go towards the funeral funds and the remainder of my parent's mortgage in order to relieve the financial burden on my mom. Any amount is deeply and sincerely appreciated by the Koh family to help us through this transition in life.
