Danny died on February 3, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.  It started with colon cancer.  He fought it and was in remission for several years.  Then it came back.  He was told that he didn't have long to live and that surgery would provide less than 50% chance of survival.  He said that something was better than nothing, and came through surgery to live far longer than the doctors thought -- doctors gave him 2 weeks to live and three years later he finally lost the fight.  His positive attitude and love of life are the reason he lived so much longer.  His laughter was infectious and all who knew him would know he was near by his laughter.  He was loving and giving and was always there to lend a helping hand.  
Unfortunately, living with cancer for so long drained bank accounts; it took both an emotional and financial toll.  The money being raised will go to paying for Danny's cremation and memorial service.  His family has come up with most of the money, but could use some help with the rest.  His service is Thursday, February 15th at 11am at St. Patrick's Church in Watsonville.  If you can help, it would greatly relieve the financial impact on the family and allow them time to grieve without another burden.  God Bless you.
