The loss of my father, Danny Ward.

For the past month, my life was put on hold. My father, Danny Ward, was diagnosed with lung cancer and was in the hospital. I spent every possible moment with him, which meant stepping away from my career to focus entirely on his well-being.

Losing my father has been devastating. The emotional impact is immense, but the financial strain is also overwhelming. Not only did I have to stop working, but now I cannot leave my mother alone while she grieves. To make matters even more challenging, we need to move her to a new home closer to me and pay my father’s funeral expenses.

This fundraiser is to help alleviate the financial pressures so we can focus on what is most important: grieving our loss and beginning to heal. All funds will cover my personal bills, my father’s funeral expenses, and help my mother transition into a safe, secure, and nearby home. Even though the amount is not enough to cover all of that, it is a great start.
