Hi, my name is Danny Shanz. I fish in the Toyota Series Division for Bass Fishing. This year I qualified for the 2022 championships out of the Southern Division. I had to finish in the top 25 to qualify. I finished in 21st out of 271 anglers. I do not have sponsors that help defray my expenses to tournaments. The money will be used for gassing up my truck, boat and lodging. This championship is very important to me because back in 2009 I was injured in a lightning strike accident and for many years wasn’t able to go bass fishing. This was very hard to accept , I loved being out on the water, it was my place to go and unwind and be close to nature. Years of therapy from exceptional physicians has brought me back to what I love to do most. I’m asking for a little help from family and friends to help get me to the championships. Thank you.
