Dear family, friends and loved ones,

On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, Danny & Marisol Nuñez lost their son, Danny Nuñez Jr., also known as “Nuno”. Nuno was so special and loved by everyone in his life, a true fighter, and an amazing human being.

At the age of 5, Nuno was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). DMD is a disease that affects the muscles, leading to the muscle deteriorating and gets worse over time. The symptoms of DMD include progressive weakness and loss of both skeletal and heart muscle.

Doctors said he wouldn’t make it past the age 15 and he made it to 21!! His family successfully dedicated their lives to promote a healthy and happy life for him & regardless of his condition, he always had high spirits and had the most beautiful, contagious smile.

Nuno’s family now faces the burden of additional medical expenses, funeral, and burial costs. If you could help the family with a donation, regardless of the amount, it would be greatly appreciated.

El miércoles,14 de Julio, 2021, Danny & Marisol Nuñez perdieron a su hijo, Danny Nuñez Jr., también conocido como “Nuno”. Nuno era tan especial y amado por todos en su vida; un verdadero luchador y un ser humano asombroso.

A la edad de 5 años, le diagnosticaron Distrofia muscular de Duchenne (DMD). La DMD es una enfermedad que afecta a los músculos, lo que hace que el músculo se deteriore y empeore con el tiempo. Los síntomas de la DMD incluyen debilidad progresiva y pérdida del músculo esquelético y cardíaco.

Los médicos dijeron que no pasaría de los 15 años y llegó a los 21! Su familia dedicó con éxito sus vidas para promover una vida saludable y feliz para él e independientemente de su condición, él siempre tenía un buen humor y tenía la sonrisa más hermosa y contagiosa.

La familia de Nuno ahora enfrenta la carga de gastos médicos adicionales, gastos funerarios y de entierro. Si pudiera ayudar a la familia con una donación, sin importar la cantidad, sería muy apreciado.
