If you knew him, you love him. Danny was an incredible and dear friend to so many people. He was an accomplished, gifted filmmaker and a true activist. He had an impact on everyone he met. He was kind and funny and intelligent.
Danny fought a brave battle with prostate cancer. He was relentlessly optimistic and positive, dedicated to his health. He remained active and driven to the very end. He passed at his home in Pahoa in the arms of his devoted husband Matthew.
