It’s with a heavy heavy heart I like to let you know that Danny passed away in the arms of his family on Thursday 6th of July. I’m keeping this page open until his funeral which will be at Fremantle cemetery on Wednesday 19th June at the West Chapel followed by a burial at 12.15, then the wake at 1pm at the Willagee Rugby Club corner of Boon and Hodges st Willagee. Thank you so much for all you kind donations love and support, Belinda and family need it now more than ever, thank you again.
Hi all,
I am reaching out to you with a heart full of sorrow. As some of you might know my brother(in law) Danny Mason has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. Those of you who have crossed paths with him or even ran parallel with his(if you're lucky) can testify to the positive impact he has on everyone around him. Words can't begin to describe what he means to us.
A husband/provider/hero/teacher/father of five/grandfather(pop) to another ten.
Belinda and Danny who by nature have always been at the front of the line to take others weight onto their own shoulders now need all the help they can get at this time.
Trying to come to terms with the grief of losing the heart and soul of the family is unbearable. The cruel twist of fate of his diagnosis given to him just hours after the passing of beloved sister Cindy and 3 short years after losing his mum Bev to the same horrible disease FUCK CANCER!
So rather than spending this precious time on the stress of funeral costs and on going medical bills (Danny was the sole income provider and in between jobs when he was told of his diagnosis) the most we can do to help is give him and Belinda in the peace of knowing that we can help take care of this responsibility after a life time of them taking care of everyone else.
