This is difficult to write and it saddens me to my core to say but Danny Malley, a longtime friend and coworker, has unexpectedly passed away this week. He leaves behind too soon in life his wonderful wife Jessica, his loving stepson Tyler, and his beautiful daughter Mia.

Danny adored his family and their life they had built together spending weekends in the desert, at the river, or just in the backyard at the pool. He was so proud of both of his children and looked forward to seeing who they would become in life. Tyler started college this fall with a great future ahead of him and will make Danny proud with whatever he chooses as his path. Mia is growing fast and was always the light of his day. He always shared pictures of the new and cute things she had accomplished the night before with anticipation of what the following evening would provide. He cherished and admired his wife Jessica and recognized he was incredibly fortunate to have such a delightful, loving woman to share their life’s journey. He was always sharing how proud of her he was with all she dealt with in her daily life as a nurse through the pandemic. He was truly blessed.

Danny was a valuable member of the SPU family also leaving a signification void with his passing, in not only regards to work but more importantly friendship. He always had a smile on his face at work, even when he was frustrated he would be laughing! He loved being part of our work family and was always there to lend a hand when needed as not only was he an experienced, knowledgeable mechanic but knew several areas of the business and was able to help or provide advice while always working hard and supporting anything anyone or the business needed.

Danny’s family is understandably dealing with the unyielding grief that comes with such a situation, as one is never prepared for such an occurrence to happen and certainly not when you are a young family with so much ahead of you. My wish for them is to be able to help take away some of that burden and worry financially with this Go Fund Me page. Any support, both financially and by keeping them all in your prayers will be greatly appreciated. Thank you
