In recent weeks, Danny's experienced quite a few medical setbacks after undergoing an emergency appendectomy. Danny is still in the hospital recovering with quite a long way to go before he's back on his feet. In addition to community events, we also wanted to help fundraise here to help him & his family during this difficult time.

**Update 11.8.19**
Danny was released from the hospital on Monday. He is at home with his family resting and starting to recuperate. As many are aware, Danny had multiple surgeries and, complications from those procedures, forcing him, at one point, into the ICU. He was at St. Joseph's Hospital for 5 weeks. His body has been through quite a bit of trauma, so the road to recovery is not an easy one. Danny's been out of work from The Lobster and unable to pursue his other professional obligations during that time and is unsure when he'll be ready to return to his very active lifestyle. Every dollar you've donated is going to assist Danny and his family with his medical expenses. A couple of us from The Lobster family will be delivering the GoFundMe donations to Danny & his wife, Sara, as soon as they're released. We were able to give him the money collected from last Tuesday's fundraiser at The Whaler before he left the hospital.
