Dear Friends and Family,

Many of you may have heard by now on Sunday August 20th Danny was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. The accident has left him with numerous injuries including a traumatic head injury, several finger fractures, multiple facial fractures. These injuries resulted in reconstructive facial surgery including a traumatic nasal reconstructive procedure.

Thank the Lord, he survived. Believe me we have! As of August 26th, Danny has been released from the hospital and returned home. The kids are over the moon to have their dad back home. However, Danny’s fight has just begun if he wishes to return to routine life. We know there are many Doctors’ visits in our future and countless frustrating therapy appointments to be completed. He is in high spirits right now and getting better every day.

Even still, it will be a bit before he is able to return to work and provide for our family. During this time, I will be focusing on being both Mom and Dad, taking care of our children in between running Danny to his recovery appointments as he continues to heal. I am so thankful for the wonderful support we have from our extended family. Yet I know emotional support is not a currency we can use to support our families financial needs or pay medical bills. Therefore, I am humbly asking our friends and family to assist us financially. So, if you are in a situation that you are able to contribute financially While Danny is recovering know that my family never believed we would have to ask but all the same will be eternally grateful.
