Danny English needs a kidney transplant

Hi, my name is Aggie Paff and I'm a member of Aspinwall Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh, PA. This GoFundMe is set up to ease Danny's financial burden as he awaits a kidney transplant. Equally important, I'm hoping to raise awareness of Danny's need for a volunteer to donate one of their kidneys to him. (Danny's medical insurance will fully cover the transplant costs for his kidney donor.)

I've known Danny English for about 5 years, as a choir member. In that short time, I've admired his piano playing and his amazing leadership in teaching and directing music among professional/student/mature adult instrumentalists and singers.

I listened with concern as Danny explained two sudden, serious illnesses (including a life flight and nearly dying twice) that led to his need today for a kidney transplant. At church, we've been praying for Danny's full recovery for several years. Danny is optimistic and trusts God for a new kidney and a complete recovery.

Meanwhile, Danny struggles with illness and severe symptoms that impede his daily tasks.

Since 2016, Danny has been employed by our church part-time as Music Director but the stipend we pay is not sufficient to cover his living expenses and out-of-pocket medical costs. Danny was terminated by his full-time employer when he became seriously ill a second time (they couldn't afford another lengthy work absence).
