On Thursday, our neighbours Danny and Di lost their family home in a sudden house fire. After forty years living there, their entire life was destroyed in minutes. Thankfully, their dog Hank made it out, but the house, their belongings, and decades of memories are gone.

With the support of friends and our community, they have already been provided with clothes, furniture and basic items to get them through the immediate days ahead. What they need now is financial support to help cover the unexpected costs ahead — temporary accommodation, food, transport, medications, bills, and the long-term expenses that come with rebuilding a life after losing everything.
