If the following is new information to you, please forgive me for hearing it this way. Any way to hear such things is terrible.
Danny, our husband, father, brother, son, provider, fierce protector, comforter and friend died on Friday August 3rd. He took his own life.
We will likely never understand how such a wonderful person could become so confused that this seemed to be the best way to resolve things. In fact, we pray that God preserve us all from such desperation. From our perspective it seems that the loss of work and his feeling of responsibility to provide for us contributed to that act of desperation. Confused and unable to think clearly, Danny was a lost sheep.
Dealing with the pain, sadness and confusion of our loss has made the past few days very difficult. Sadly, what we have been facing is a few hard realities - death is expensive. The funeral date has not yet been set because we have been trying to figure out how to pay for it. There is a cemetery within walking distance of Charly and the boys, however the cost to bury Danny there is more that we can afford.
Many have asked us all what you can do to help, at this time our family needs help paying for the funeral costs for Danny. Every little bit will help during this painful time.
