Danny Bradshaw

On Sunday, November 10, 2019 @ around 10:52 am, Danny and his daughter Kaci were working in the fields loading big round bales of cornstalks.  As he was lifting the last bale for the load, it rolled back and fell down on Danny while he was on the tractor.  This crushed his arms and neck area.  Danny was taken to MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, where he quickly went into surgery to remove a crushed C6 vertebrae and place a titanium bracket in his C5 to C7 area.  He would then stay in the Neuro ICU unit for the next 7 days while he was starting the healing process.  His next step came when he was accepted into the program at the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE and was taken there on Wednesday, November 20, 2019.  They will continue to work with him on all of his OT and PT therapies until around the end of December.  

There is going to be a long road to full recovery for not only him but for Connie (his fiance') and the family as he recovers from this injury.  Not knowing what will lie ahead for him and Connie, we appreciate all of your prayers, texts, messages, visits, and donations during this time.
