Danny Blankenship- Owner of Hometeam Inspections
Donation protected
On the morning of August 16th, Danny wasn’t feeling well, but needed to complete a home inspection for a friend. Danny was found down in the home by a local realtor. It was discovered Danny had fallen from a high ladder in the garage of the home where he sustained fractures to his skull, ribs, and shoulder. He remains sedated, in a medically induced coma, in the ICU at ORMC recovering, which is expected to take months according to his doctors. In addition to the traumatic injuries his body and brain sustained from the fall, he is now fighting pneumonia. If you know Danny, you know he is fighting this with every ounce of his being.
Danny leaves behind a small business which offers no worker’s compensation and has a high deductible insurance plan. Additionally, as a small business owner, Danny does not have the luxury of having PTO. Together, these issues leave an overwhelming and extensive amount of bills for his family who are left scrambling to keep his business afloat and wondering how to cover his medical expenses. He leaves behind people that work for him and count on him, and a family who counts on him. We are doing our best to hold it all together, for Danny.
