The Armenta family, and our community, lost a most loving, devoted, caring and kind husband, father and friend when Danny passed away suddenly on December 29, 2020. As grateful friends of Danny and Theresa, we are inviting you to provide support.
Danny and Theresa, two of the most friendly and kindhearted people you will ever meet, have enriched many of our lives with their loving friendship. We all felt the tragic loss of Danny and cannot fathom the depth of the pain his loss has caused Theresa and their three children. Adding to the tragedy is the timing of Danny’s death. Danny was hospitalized as the family excitedly planned to spend their first Christmas with their toddler granddaughter and he died with his unopened presents still under the family’s tree. Theresa, a recently retired elementary school teacher and full-time caregiver for her aging mother, now finds herself without her life partner and best friend.
Danny inspired us as a patient, kind, loyal and devoted father, husband and friend who selflessly and generously made time for anyone who needed him. Many of our friendships date back over a decade when we met as fellow middle school marching band booster parents. Hard working, reliable, and dependable, both Danny and Theresa worked every fundraiser and attended every marching band and concert band performance for their twin girls. You would generally find Danny donating additional time towing the equipment trailer to band events and manning the BBQ to feed the band kids after their parades and performances. Even after Danny’s girls graduated he continued to remain involved in booster activities as a loving gesture for the band kids and his friend the band director. We will long be comforted by the memory of Danny roaming around the staging area in his green Moore shirt or his red REV polo passing along words of support and comfort to the kids, a kind ear to a frustrated parent or a friendly jab to a fellow band dad. Danny was uniquely a friend to everyone, leaving a void that can’t be filled.
Because of Danny’s legacy of friendship, many have asked what they can do to memorialize him and to support his loving wife Theresa who must now fulfill their shared goals without him. Just as Danny and Theresa have always been there for us and our kids, we have created this Go Fund Me account to allow their many grateful friends the opportunity to honor their devoted friendship by donating to Danny and Theresa’s fund.
