Danni's top surgery and recovery funds!

Hi, I’m Danni! I am a 34 year old trans masculine non-binary person. I am scheduled to have a mastectomy in March. While I am building my savings in order to cover the amount that insurance is not covering, I need your help to be able to pay for the surgery and expenses post surgery.

Many of you who are reading this probably are a friend or family but for those who don’t know me, let me introduce myself and my journey.

Many years ago, I started to feel overwhelmingly uncomfortable in my body.

For over 6 years I have researched the meanings of being non-binary, transgender, trans masculine and general gender expression. To this day I still continue to study these topics.

In October of 2018 I began taking small doses of Testosterone to help lower my voice and change physical features for myself. I stopped after a year because I felt that no matter the changes brought by T, my chest would still create a lot of gender dysphoria for me and how I present myself.

This is why I’m asking for your support.

Having this type of gender affirming surgery will help with my gender dysphoria which is a great part of my struggle with my body image, self esteem and mental health.

Once I recover from the surgery I will speak with my Endocrinologist about restarting Testosterone so that I can continue working on other aspects of my gender dysphoria that cause me stress. The biggest hurdle will be out of the way and I feel that my mental health regarding my body will be easier to manage.

The expenses are but not limited to:

.A sitter for my dog, Shadow (I won’t be able to walk him while I’m healing)

.Bills if I am unable to work from home and need to use unpaid time off.
