Dannii’s Cancer Fight

Dannii is one of my oldest friends . We have known each other since we were kids. She is only 42 years old and it breaks my heart to watch her and her family go thru the most terrible time right now.

Dannii went for a routine scan around 3 months ago and her whole life Changed. She was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer which has also spread to her liver, kidneys and her lungs.

She was given 2 years with treatment.

She has a family- a husband and 2 kid’s only 8 and 10 years old and immediately started chemo in desperation of not seeing her kids grow up.

She has had every symptom possible from chemo . She has been in and out hospital and still manages to keep a positive outlook .

Dannii continued to work the best she could as it was a way for her to escape the life that she had been dealt . It was like living a double life and not having cancer while she was there . Unfortunately she had to resign a few days ago as the symptoms she has are way to intense.

Her husband brad just lost his dad a few months ago and brads mental health is suffering so much that he has also had to give up work. He’s seeing a Medical professional and is Dannii’s support Taking her to chemo, to help with kids , to try be the best support he can be .

They don’t have much family or help. They have no money and even struggled to pay for morphine to help with her pain a few days ago . Danni was not  even going to buy it and a friend insisted to pay for her .

She’s trying to access superannuation to help pay for their medical and living expenses but they are looking at 4-6 months to get this with no guarantee of even getting a payment.

I am asking for any help anyone can give to help this beautiful family In their time of need.  I am hoping we can raise enough money to help them throughthese incredibly hard times.
