Hi, my name is Danni, and I’m asking for your help as I fight for justice and safety after enduring two years of severe discrimination and harassment in my workplace.

I’ve worked as one of the few women — and the only Black lesbian woman — on a team of 12 men. Since the beginning, I’ve faced constant mistreatment and intimidation: inappropriate comments, sexual harassment, stalking, and even physical assault. I’ve had coworkers pull my locs while my back was turned and slap my arm during shifts. I’ve been spoken to aggressively, mocked for who I am, and targeted for simply trying to do my job with pride and integrity.

I reported the harassment multiple times, hoping for accountability and change — but instead, I was met with silence, retaliation, and even more hostility. I’ve spent two years trying to endure an environment that made me feel unsafe, unseen, and disrespected. No one should have to experience that, especially in a place where they’re just trying to earn an honest living.

After exhausting every internal option, I’ve made the difficult decision to pursue legal action. This isn’t just about me — it’s about standing up for fairness, equality, and protection for everyone who’s been silenced or mistreated at work.
