Dan Nauta, husband to Cherie, father to Emily, Alli, Franklin and Bri and step-father to Brad, very suddenly on July 6th. As you can imagine, it is a terrible blow for his entire family. She has asked that you all pray for her and all 5 children involved. Here are her words from Facebook:

"It is with the greatest heartache one can have that I share with my brothers and sisters in Christ, heaven received an angel today. My beloved husband Dan has gone home to be with our King. It is with greatest heartache that I ask each and everyone of you to please pray for my children and myself as we will lay to rest the greatest man we could have the blessing of calling Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Grandpa. Please lift us up in prayer as we say our good byes. Father above, I come before you and ask for your constant presence in our lives, Amen"

Please pray for grace, peace, understanding, acceptance and, most of all, strength as they face the road ahead. A year ago Dan's daughters from his first marriage, Emily and Alli, lost their mother, and will need extra prayers during this time. Franklin and Gabrielle need us to lift them up as they are far too young to have to say goodbye to their Dad. And Cherie, of course, has lost her love, a loss like no other.
