Dan Mitsdarfer is one of the sweetest and kindest people you’ll ever meet. He’s always there to help family, friends, and even strangers without hesitation. Growing up his dad and hero, taught him that if you can help someone, you help them. Dan lives his life by that philosophy. He is the FAVORITE Uncle to every child lucky enough to meet him! He has always paid special attention to any kids with absent fathers, going out of his way after a long day working to swing by and make time to play! Dan is always ready with a quick joke to put a smile on your face!
Now Dan desperately needs our help and prayers.
Dan runs a small business, Dan’s Tree and Stump Removal, in Wilmington, DE. While pruning a tree, a branch knocked him off a ladder 10 feet above the ground. He did a somersault and was knocked unconscious when he hit the ground. He was air-lifted to Christiana hospital in Newark, DE.
Dan suffered severe injuries. He has multiple fractured ribs on his left and right sides, his right lung is punctured, and he has multiple broken bones in his back. Fortunately, there is no paralysis, but it will be a long time before he is back in the trees working. He is in terrible pain and struggling to breath.
He is the sole provider for his family and he is going to need help with his medical bills and living expenses until he is able to go back to work. This page has been setup as a place for friends and family to offer support at whatever level feels right for them.
