Hey y’all, my name is Danisha and I’m 22 years old. I just started college as a freshman, and while most people my age are graduating, I’m just getting started. I used to be embarrassed about that, but now I’m proud—because I’m finally chasing a dream I’ve had for so long.

College has always been something I wanted—not just for the degree, but for the experience. I want to grow, learn, and become the best version of myself. I’m majoring in Communications because I’ve always had a voice, and I want to use it to inspire, connect, and create something meaningful in this world. I know what it’s like to feel behind, but I also know how it feels to finally take that leap.

I work hard, but between tuition, books, rent, and just basic life needs, things get really tight. I’m doing everything I can to stay afloat, but I’m asking for help so I don’t have to choose between surviving and succeeding.
