Hey y'all! My name's Dani, and I'm a trans woman from the southern United States. I'm collecting funds for bottom surgery (specifically, vaginoplasty), which I have scheduled for June 14 of this year. I came out as trans four years ago after a long period of confusion and questioning, and while living in the United States as a trans person comes with many challenges, I can honestly say that the ongoing experience of my transition has been nothing short of revelatory. I've found so much self-acceptance, clarity, and peace living openly as a woman, and I'm super excited to follow this journey wherever it takes me. Gender-affirming care, unfortunately, is not cheap, and this is especially true of surgical interventions.
