I’m terrible at providing good explanations, but I hope this works.

I’m trying to raise some funds to get through these next few weeks. Recently I quit my job at Starbucks to grow my career in the non-profit sector. I had gotten what I thought was a good job, one that would have paid well. Unfortunately, I had been unexpectedly let go, as the hiring process included working for the company for a set period of time before being brought on board. What wasn’t communicated to me was how strict they were about this. I didn’t met the mark. 

Currently I work as a freelance canvasser doing phone banking work. It brings in some cash but not nearly enough, as I only work a few hours a week.

I’m in the process of getting a new job. As of right now I have secured a job, but (of course there’s a ‘but’ lol) this job requires state licensing. I’m currently studying for my license, but it takes a lot of time.

I’m lucky to be living with a family member. This new job could help me get my life in order. But right now I need some help paying some bills, and buying groceries.

By the end of August, I should be starting at my job, if everything goes well.
