Lupus (SLE) is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks its own tissues, causing widespread inflammation and tissue damage in the affected organs. It can affect the joints, skin, brain, lungs, kidneys, and blood vessels. There is no cure for lupus, but medical interventions and lifestyle changes can help control it.
Hi, everyone. I'm Dani and I have been fighting Lupus for 7 years now. I have recently gone into my worst flare yet that has been lasting several months. I have been stuck in bed in horrific pain and unable to live my life. I have been in and out of the hospital and have met with several doctors. I have health insurance but it is becoming difficult to cover medical and life expenses.
I am hoping to find some answers soon to improve my condition. It is really hard for me to set up a page like this, but I am running out of options. I am barely able to work and make ends meet. Any contribution is helpful no matter the amount.
There is new research and progress being made as far as lupus treatment goes to better the quality of life for people with this uncurable disease. So, even if you can't financially contribute, please send some good energy my way or share this post.
I love you all and I will not let this keep me down :)
