This past November, Fullerton lost a beloved member of its community. Daniel Gaubatz was a devoted and hard-working man who cared deeply for everyone. He was known throughout Fullerton for his warm character and for the kindness he spread throughout the town. We lost Dan on November 20th, 2025, on his way to work. Dan worked for The Old Spaghetti Factory for over 10 years. He was a manager, server, bartender, busser, and host, but most of all, Dan was our friend. It is truly a travesty not to see his gentle soul at work every day. The guests at The Old Spaghetti Factory loved Dan and miss him as deeply as the rest of us do.

Dan was truly an amazing man, a great brother, and uncle. Dan was a friend to all. He loved Star Wars and Disc Golf like no other. He loved grabbing a Space Dust IPA after work. We miss Dan every day and will never forget the impact he left on us. We ask that if anyone is fortunate enough to donate, please do. Help give Dan the peace he deserves.
