It is with sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Danilo Marte share that on January 23rd, 2021 Danilo passed away. He was 60 years old at the time of his passing. Danilo was a very well known and loved member of the Ithaca community. He spent 15 years working with the Ithaca City School District, and over a decade working for Wegmans. To students he was an inspiration, to his coworkers he was hard working, to his friends and family he was ambitious and caring, and to us all HE WILL BE REMEMBERED. Remembered for his love, generosity, and laughter. Danilo leaves behind his mother, three children and their mother, his granddaughter, nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters and friends who join to mourn and celebrate his life.
