Hi everyone,

My name is Danilo, and if you’re reading this, you probably already know me or my family. I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted into the Wadayama Student Exchange Program and will be traveling with 10 other delegates and teachers from my middle school to Asago City, Japan from May 8th–May 18th,2026.

Over the past several months, I’ve worked hard alongside the other student delegates to raise money and awareness for this trip. We’ve held multiple fundraisers, and community groups have generously contributed. So far, I’ve raised $1,132, and I’m really proud of the effort that’s gone into getting this far.

The remaining cost for the trip and flight is $1,143, not including luggage, travel gear, or basic spending money. To help fully cover these expenses, my goal is to raise $1,500–$2,000.

This experience will allow me to learn about Japanese culture, school in another country, and connect with students my age while sharing where I’m from and my culture as well. I take this opportunity seriously and I am honored to represent our community.
