Hello Everyone:
My name is Danielle and I earned the opportunity to study abroad this summer! As a child I dreamed of going abroad, expanding my horizon beyond the borders of my state and country and now I get to do just that. The only issue is that I don’t have enough money for food and transportation due to some unforeseen costs and restrictions. It caught me completely off guard, but nevertheless, I'm positive, optomistic, and ready for the challenge.
This Japan abroad trip will place me in Tokyo and Kyoto. It isn’t just something I decided on a whim. I am studying to earn an intercollege degree in both Art with a focus on film Photography and English with a concentration on Creative Writing. My decision to go on this trip was because of the booming photography scene which included film photography. This is about my future as a professional and if this trip turns out the way I hope it to, I may be moving there post university.
I understand that $1,500 is a lot of money to raise, but I have to be able to eat and move about! Every donation counts $1, $5, $10, $15 whatever you’re able to give. I hope I can make my goal in a month. Fingers crossed.
