Daniel Hastie is a kid that has defied the odds. Despite loosing his Father to a life-long battle with cancer this year, Daniel won the State Golden Glove Boxing Championship for 2019 at 152 Lbs.
Nampa has the highest percentage of kids in Idaho with one parent or no parents. These are considered "At-Risk Youth". These situations normally end up having a negative impact on the children and their community, Daniel has pursued his dream of boxing in hopes of avoiding becoming a statistic and instead having a positive impact on his community by inspiring kids that are in the same situation.
Daniel's needs are minimal to continue his Boxing journey. He is currently training for the Olympic Trials and also the National Tournament. Expenses will include things like training facility fees, traveling, equipment and high quality nutrition.
Daniel has the Heart of a Lion and has never let his rough life become an excuse to give up or get angry. He is an inspiration to me and I thank you in advance for being a part of his TRIUMP!
