Daniel's recovery after emergency surgery

If you know my husband Daniel you know he loves anything to do with motors, bikes, cars, boats, planes etc.

He and my Uncle road down from OR to CA to attend The Biltwell 100 race in Ridgecrest, CA. Along the way they stopped at our Bay Area family home when he started to come down with heavy congestion that lead to an ear infection and after being denied antibiotics at urgent care for coming in too soon he started to get more sick, felt better, then declined again.

After arriving at the hospital by ambulance they concluded that the ear infection had spread to the bone behind his ear - Mastoiditis. We were transferred to Stanford Medical and they did a successful emergency surgery that required them to open behind his ear and on top of his head to clean out the infection. By the grace of god it did not enter his brain.

We are currently in neuro ICU and have a long road ahead. We already have been helped in so many ways by friends and family with our kids, dogs, home etc.
