Hello everybody, my name is Daniel and I’m hopping on here to share a little bit about myself and why the opportunity to get top surgery means so much to me.

I came out when I was 12 and have had a long journey leading up to this point. I am farther along in my transition than I ever imagined and I am getting closer to my goals of being more comfortable in my own skin and feeling more at home in my own body.

Last year I was able to start hormone therapy and now I’m getting closer and closer to the next step. Now I have this chance and have a set date for my top surgery: 8/14/2026. I feel overjoyed with this development, and it’s something I can’t wait to go through with, and it means so incredibly much to me that I have this chance.

I’m coming on here to ask you to help me with completing this part of my life and help me with this journey. Anything helps me whether it’s sharing or donating. It means so much to me.

I’ll be having my surgery in San Francisco, which is the closest place I can get my surgery, which means I will be traveling. I have my family that has and continues to support me. They will be housing and taking care of me during my recovery for multiple weeks. My insurance will luckily be covering half of my surgery cost. I'm working to cover as much as possible, and your donation would help cover medical supplies, surgery costs, and travel expenses. I would appreciate it beyond words if I could get some help.
