Daniel Gourde will be having surgery on Wednesday, August 10th, for an internal defibrillator. The results of that surgery will tell us all if further action needs to be taken. This family has already felt the devastating heartbreak of losing a brother at a young age. There is a high likelihood that this is the same condition that Daniel has recently been diagnosed with. Over the last few months, this young family has endured a hard road to get where they are- and the road to any sort of recovery has just begun. It took quite a few doctor visits and 2 ER trips until they were finally sent to the Saint George Cardiac Unit for heart failure at only 10% heart function. Daniel and his wife, Jennessa, have been loving, caring, admirable, and strong through this whole process.

I'm hoping that this GoFundMe account can help provide some monetary stress relief that this crisis brings. Medical expenses and further expenses for this family of 4, would be greatly appreciated.
