Daniels Family Emergency Fund

My name is Emilie Daniels, and on 6/28/23 my sister-in-law Deirda "Dee" Daniels suffered a stroke and brain hemorrhage while visiting family out of town. She was flown to Harborview where she's currently in the Neuro ICU.

As some of you may know, she had a stent placed for an aneurysm about a month ago. The neurosurgeon said this event is related and happens in less than 1% of cases. We're unsure of the damage at this point; temporary or long term, reversible or permanent.

Presently, she is resting while her brain tries to heal. All we can do is pray that she will regain consciousness and ease into the path of recovery and rehabilitation.

Times are tough for a lot of folks, but if you can spare some funds to help my family it sure would mean a lot.

Dee is a wonderful mother to 4 beautiful children, a strong sister to her siblings, a caring wife to my brother Isaac, an aunt not only to my daughter but many more nieces and nephews, and a true friend to those close to her. She has always been fiercely protective of her family and friends, and now is the chance to offer protection in return. My brother is currently unable to work due to a work injury, and L&I is a slow process. This money will help them stay afloat while they figure out this chapter no one could prepare for. I'm not sure what an air transport costs, but it's something Isaac shouldn't have to even ponder. Every little bit helps.
