Danielle’s War Against Breast Cancer!

Dear Friends & Family,

My longtime childhood friend, Danielle “Dani” Kolb-White is currently in the fight of/for her life. In November of 2022, she was diagnosed with stage 3 invasive ductal carcinoma after finding a lump in one of her breasts. Danielle is married to her wonderful husband, Kase, and they have 3 beautiful children together. Ethan is 16, Landrie Mae is 8, and Brynlie Grace is 6. They reside in Wills Point, Texas where Dani works in childcare at First Baptist Wills Point. Kase works on telecommunication towers which requires frequent travel away from home adding immense strain to an already stressful situation.

When I say Dani is a warrior, that is definitely an enormous understatement! Since her diagnosis, she has juggled working full-time and raising her children..all while enduring radiation, chemotherapy, surgeries, hospitalizations, and infection (which, devastatingly, resulted in the removal of her left breast).

Her fight is far from over. On Monday, March 25, Dani will undergo reconstructive surgery. The next step after that will be bone density infusions with the goal being to strengthen damaged bone (caused by the cancer and chemotherapy) in hopes of preventing any cancer from entering the bone areas of her body.

Danielle will never be “cured” from this type of cancer. Best case scenario, it will be maintained through oral medications for the duration of her life.

She and Kase are fighting daily battles with every ounce of their might…physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and financially.

Insurance has only gone so far, and they are currently already over $20,000 in mounting medical debt with another $10,000 due up front for her surgery next month.

Cancer is so very insidious in countless ways, and money concerns should be the least of worries. Unfortunately, this is not reality. This family needs any and all of the immediate financial help they can get right now.

If you are able, please give. No amount is too small. Maybe, skip that coffee, fast food meal, or Amazon find and know that you are giving hope and encouragement to an awesome family who is desperately fighting for their wife/mother’s well-being and life. Being reminded you aren’t alone is so powerful and healing, and this type of support would do just that for the White family.

Just as importantly, please keep Dani, Kase, Ethan, Landrie, and Brynlie in your prayers. They know God is in control and has Danielle safely in the palm of His hands.
