At 26, Danielle is planning her future with her career, her friends, family, boyfriend and puppy, all while recently finding out she has a brain tumor on her right frontal lobe. On 08/08/18 I woke up to parademics in my room asking me 100 questions and quickly transporting me to the ER due to a seizure. After multiple test and being confused as to what I was doing laying in a hospital bed at 26 years old, I was told I have a brain tumor on my right frontal lobe.  Everything still seems like a dream even though I know it is reality. But I’m so grateful for my support system and the outpoor of love I have received since Wednesday. I am so lucky to be here and every problem, stress, worry that I have had in the past seems so... small. I don’t need sympathy or sorry’s because I am fine, I just need positive vibes because as strong and normal as I feel right now, I know the hardest parts are yet to come. Hug those around you a little tighter and tell people you love them. I am ready to get through this.  I know this happened to me because I know I am strong enough to pull through. I would be lying if I said I was not afraid but I am ready to move forward. At 6:17 am, as I lay here between my pup and my guy, my heart has never been so full and I am so lucky. To my friends, my family, and Leo, I LOVE YOU. I promise to stay strong because that’s what all of you have been doing for me, even though I can see how helpless you all feel. We’re a team and I am so grateful. Soon enough this will be something we can look back on as the past. I love you all.
