On October 13th, 2019 Danielle was rushed to the hospital - she had started to feel weak and passed out at home. To try to make a long story short - it turned out that she was bleeding internally somewhere. They weren't sure where the bleed was coming from - they had been taking blood and running test after test. Finally they were able to determine that there was a mass on her colon that was more than likely malignant. They had to schedule her for emergency surgery. During this surgery they had to remove 12 inches and did multiple biopsies from other areas. It came back that Danielle did indeed have stage 3 colon cancer - and sadly it was also found in her lymph nodes. It was confirmed that once she heals from her surgery she will have to begin chemo.
She has been in the hospital for a little over a week now - and unsure when she will be released or cleared to go back to work. Hospital bills will come around soon - as well as monthly bills. Chemo and recovery is stressful enough. Unfourtunately bills do not stop. So if you are able to help - even just a little it would be appreciated more than you will ever know. Every little bit adds up.
Prayers are welcomed too.
Wishing Danielle a strong recovery.
Thank you!
