Our lovely Danielle has lived with Juvenile "Type 1" Diabetes, since she was 10 years old, and now at 30 this disease has wrecked havoc on her fragile body.
Her heart suffers from Left Ventricular Hypertrophy, a thickening of the left ventricle, which is being further compromised by Periodontal "gum" Disease brought on by the diabetes as well, and now she is losing her eye sight to Diabetic Retinopathy.
Recently, her left eye suffered a vitreomacular bleed and both eyes are being treated with eye injects. Lordy, Lordy - the hits keep coming!
All these life threatening ailments must to be treated aggressively and quickly and that is why we are asking urgently for financial assistance. Medical bills are stacking up faster than we can pay them.
Danielle will need to have her teeth pulled and get dentures as soon as possible to rid her body of this disease that keeps her blood sugars too high and full of bacteria which directly effects her eyes and heart. The cost for this will be $17,000.
While all these treatments are going on she won't be able to work and needs are help to maintain her life until she is healed. Right now her monthly bills have come due and she has not been able to work enough to make her ends meet - at all. We are at this time applying for Social Security Disability, but that will take months to come through. She will need money to live, and we simply can not afford this onslaught of financial needs by ourselves.
Anything you can give would be a tremendous help and greatly appreciated. Saving her life, and giving her some quality of life while all these painful procedures are undertaken is the root of this appeal to all that love her and our family.
