Danielle's Fight to Survive
Donation protected
My dear friend Danielle was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer this past July 2019. She had a partial mastectomy in August 2019.
Initially, her oncologist said she would have four rounds of chemotherapy followed by radiation. Now her oncologist is recommending an additional 12 weeks of chemo before she can start radiation.
However, despite insurance, Dani’s finances and emotional well-being have been taking its toll. Dani is a single mother raising two daughters, Isabella 17 and Olivia 12, on her own.
Dani’s prognosis is good, but due to the side effects of chemo, she is unable to work regularly. Along with unexpectedly losing her job just days before her first round of chemo, and issues with SDI and EDD for benefits, there has been no other source of income coming in, and it has become very overwhelming for her.
Dani has been a great friend to many and is a wonderful mother, always putting her daughters, Isabella, and Olivia’s needs ahead of her own. Although we can’t make her cancer go away, we can help take some of the financial burdens off of her shoulders. One of the things I love about Dani is that she wants to protect her daughters and others from feeling burdened by her struggle. And that is why I started this GoFundMe page to help her.
I love Dani very much and hope that this page, in some way, eases the financial strain that she is experiencing. So I’m asking at this vulnerable time in her life that we rally around her as she fights this insidious disease. Any amount you can donate is much appreciated. Right now, Dani needs the support and love of family and friends so she can focus on beating cancer and providing for her daughters. I hope that you can help us achieve our goal. Thank you for your consideration and support.
Sincerely,
Jodi Patzer
