Danielle Timmons
Donation protected
Friends & Neighbors, our community has suffered a loss. After a very unexpected medical upset, the Timmons-Koprowski Family, of Pittsboro, NC, only had days to say “goodbye” to Danielle. On September 25th, they lost their daughter, sister, wife, friend and mother.
Karl and his children (Judah, Eme & Ali) are surrounded with the love and support of a strong family network, but the jarring family dynamic change will be an adjustment on all levels. The family also has their neighborhood community and the children’s school is generously and tenderly surrounding them as best as possible during this impossible time.
If you feel compelled to contribute an act of kindness, please consider a monetary donation in lieu of flowers or food. The funds will go to off-set the loss of Danielle’s income so that Karl isn’t required to go immediately back to double shifts (UNC burn unit nurse) right off the bat. His focus is, and needs to remain, on his children.
Danielle received care in her final days at the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home of UNC Health Care. Non-perishable donations can be made to stock the kitchen, available to visiting family members. The family will be making a donation to this care home in honor of Danielle.
Danielle loved sunshine, flowers, astrology, her family and cherished antique items. Karl was the love of her life and her children were her world.
A private celebration of life will be held on Danielle’s birthday later this month.
The GoFundMe is the best way to show support to Karl and his children at this time. The shock of her loss is still so surreal. This GoFundMe will close in another week. Thank you so much to those who have given gentle condolences and monetary contributions. Often people won’t remember the things you say or the specific things you do, but they will never forget the way you make them feel. It is my hope that Karl and his precious children are able to look back at this hard time and remember the feelings of support and love that poured out to them.
The loss is immeasurable, but so is the love left behind.
