Hello, My name is Lisa Giardina, mother to my 31 year old Daughter, Danielle. I’m writing to ask for your help in Danielle’s time of need. At rhe end of August, 2025 Danielle was experiencing severe right sided facial pain which abruptly turned into right sided arm and leg numbness. After two weeks of this pain Danielle went to the Emergency Room where she was Diagnosed on Labor Day 2025 with a congenital Chiari 1 Malformation.This she was born with but we had no idea she had until just recently. Danielle underwent an Emergent Occipital Craniotomy where they had to remove part of her skull and cervical spine . Danielle has not worked since Sept 1st, money is tight for her at this time!!! Since her surgery, Danielle has had major complications and is currently facing yet another Brian surgery this week at UHS to go back and redo the previous surgery. Another grueling 3-4 hour Brain surgery that she will have months of recovery and physical therapy.

Danielle is the mother of two beautiful Children, Emery Lynn, age 5 and Giovanni Michael, age 1. As a family, we are sharing the care of the children while Danielle recuperates . I’m asking for your help with keeping food for the family, her utilities on and general needs while Danielle is getting well again. I appreciate your help in any way you can.
