Danielle McDonough and her family
Donation protected
To our friends, family and everyone who was a part of Danielle’s life, it has been extremely difficult for myself and so many others to come to terms with the fact that her life was cut so short so fast. I remember holding her hand in the hospital thinking to myself if anyone can pull through this, it will be you. Hospital staff and others would say she can’t hear you, but I refused to believe that. I kept telling her “We got this! You’re walking out of here.” I talked to her the whole time I was there with a heart full of hope. Unfortunately, that would be the last time I saw her.
On December 22nd I lost my best friend. That day her two beautiful children, Sylas and Blakely, lost their mother. Her siblings, Grace, Rachael, Meredith and Tyler lost their sister. Her two mothers, both Sharon, lost their daughter. All of whom are still in the process of mourning the sudden loss of their father Jamie. Jamie was Danielle’s ride or die best friend too. I can almost feel their energy as I’m writing this and knowing they are at peace together now. Probably up there still crackin jokes. Jamie’s probably calling me big head and Danielle’s still laughing about the one time her little sister farted on me. Lol I’m telling ya you aren’t friends unless you can make fun of each other and that we definitely did a lot of. We were roommates for so many years in so many different houses. Literally every fun memory as young adult has her right by my side and that will never change. She is and will always be my chosen family.
Danielle was a free spirit, a caring friend, and a wonderful mother. We hope that the love she had in her life will be forever seen in her children, family, and friends that she cared so much for. We never wish to say goodbye to the ones we love but we know that Danielle's beautiful soul will be in our hearts forever.
We hope to help her family with any expenses that follow especially considering her two young children. Anything anyone can contribute would be greatly appreciated by all. Thank you all so much for even considering to donate and for taking the time to read.
