At the end of 2018, television producer/director Danielle Dieffenthaller (Westwood Park, The Reef etc) was diagnosed with renal failure. She is currently in line for a kidney transplant. To this end friends of Danielle with be hosting a benefit concert entitled “Staying Alive” . On July 9th at O2 Park, Chaguaramas. The concert will feature KES the band, 3 Canal, Freetown Collective and Nigel Rojas. Other acts will be added in the coming weeks.

The proceeds of the benefit will be in aid of Danielle’s transplant as well as the Kidney Foundation ( for people afflicted with kidney failure but cannot afford dialysis) and the National Organ Transplant Unit ( to run an awareness campaign on becoming an organ donor). At the event we hope to sign people up to be organ donors
